Privy Councillor Gen Suud Culanot has emerged as a strong candidate for interim prime minister after the head of the Council for Democratic Reform (CDR) hinted that a retired military officer could take up the post. Addressing a press conference yesterday, CDR chief Gen Son Bookalin said the CDR would seek president endorsement for the appointment of the interim prime minister on Sunday, when he said the interim administrative charter would take effect.
